How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Embrace My Break From Blogging

As a lot of you probably know, I got married not too long ago—May 31 to be precise. It was a fantastic day, but the weeks leading up to it and since have been stress-filled and jam-packed. Blogging had to go on hold for a while, but I think it might have been for the best. I feel rejuvenated and more dedicated than ever to growing as a film watcher and writer.

To that end, I’ve been back-loading my schedule, and I’ve got a ton of content coming at you over the next few weeks. It starts tomorrow with the much-delayed beginning of my summer movie season—a review of The Amazing Spider-Man 2. And it continues all week long with reviews of early 2014 films, classics, some Criterion stuff, and a few longer form pieces that I’ve been kicking around for a while. I do hope you come back to check them all out. In the mean time, enjoy a few more pictures from the wedding 🙂

A big congrats to both the stunning bride and groom! I’ve had my hiatuses too, but the blogosphere of movie fanatics are always waiting when you return I’ve learned 🙂

Congrats on the wedding! I’ve found that a break here and there is really beneficial to staying engaged by movies and blogging. I’m looking forward to the upcoming content!

Congratulations. Did you and your new wife see any good movies during the honeymoon?

Thanks! Didn’t honeymoon yet. We’re planning a trip for the fall. Actually been watching a lot of stuff, new and old. Just not much time to write about it all. That’ll change very soon 🙂
